The summer long double feature of “Brave New World”, by Ian Young, and “100 Years Of Solitude”, ?by Michael Young were featured in the Adeline Peers Gallery. ?The two original paining series were based on the famous novels by Aldous Huxley, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, both on loan to the university by collector Fred Whitehead, of Kansas City, Kansas. ?They were on display from May 24th, to October 12th, 2019. ?A reception was held on September 6th and a discussion of the art was held on September 18th. ?Click to see Brave New World paintings and read story cliff notes.
